I gave the girls a break from the camera for the weekend and played with a little flower and water drop macro. Sheesh that's hard work!!! I'm pretty sure I broke a sweat. But it was fun to play with the shapes and textures and colors.
Crepe myrtles all over the city are beginning to bloom. I love seeing the bursts of color all around. We had a crepe myrtle at our first home and I loved seeing the blooms and even the snow of colorful petals that followed...even if it was a mess. At our newest home, we once again have a crepe myrtle and I can't wait to see how much Big Sis loves the bright pink blooms.
